City Heritage Park, located in Parlier, California, transformed a historic site once home to fruit packing warehouses and railroad lines into a vibrant community space. After addressing significant challenges—including the removal and safe off-haul of over 11,000 tons of contaminated soil—the project began in October 2018. The park features a central walkway inspired by railroad tracks, a splash pad with a water tower and warning lights, classic benches, a farmer’s market area, and future amenities like shade pavilions and playgrounds. Landscaping includes a soccer field, native California plants, and a variety of shade trees, creating a welcoming environment for the community and future generations.
