Downtown Beautification Project

The City of Parlier Downtown Beautification project was a fast-tracked initiative awarded in March 2022 and launched less than a month later. American Paving Co. upgraded a three-block stretch of downtown, adding curb ramps, crosswalks, fifteen planter bulb-outs, and new decorative sidewalks and brick walkways—while ensuring uninterrupted business access. Enhancements included new landscaping, irrigation, decorative lighting, benches, trash receptacles, raised planters, tree grates, and trench drain grates. The team also coordinated needed water valve replacements and completed a 2-inch asphalt overlay to improve the roadway within project limits.
